
Entry Level Payroll Administrator

We are currently in need of an Entry Level Payroll Administrator. The Entry Level Payroll Administrator manages and processes all payroll functions for assigned dealerships. Prior automotive and/or accounting experience a huge plus!
Employees in this position will be paid an hourly wage ranging from $25.00/hr to $29.00/hr.

Responsibilities
Process all payroll for assigned dealerships.
Compile payroll data such as hours worked; sales volume, bonuses, and commissions; monies to be withheld for taxes; employee contributions to insurance and retirement plans; etc., from timesheets and other records.
Update master payroll records by verifying and recording changes affecting net wages such as federal and state tax exemptions, insurance coverage, etc., and data concerning compensation increases, promotions, and/or transfer of employees between departments.
Audit payroll transactions to ensure accuracy of all wage/tax management reports & general ledger interface.
Keep records of leave pay and nontaxable wages.
Prepare periodic reports of earnings, taxes, and deductions.
Prepare and maintain all personnel files; hiring and termination paperwork.
Maintain records for vacations and sick-day eligibility.
Prepare and handle issues relating to bank statements & other related accounted reports.
Generate & distribute payroll & management reports.
Interact with employees regarding payroll information, including researching & responding to payroll related questions.
Prepare & review payroll journal entries.
Responsible for timely responses to incoming withholding orders & processing garnishments.
Qualifications
Ability to perform multi-site payroll processes or have extensive multi-site payroll processing experience.
Ability to protect confidential information & perform in a fast paced & flexible business office environment.
Working knowledge of MS Office Software; MS Excel, Word & Office.
Basic accounting knowledge.
High School Diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred).
Computer literate and must be able to learn Company software.
Understands employee payroll issues, and communicates solutions effectively, professionally, and respectfully with employees including management staff.
