Position Overview
Pathmark Transportation is hiring a Morning Shift Operation Supervisor.
Responsibilities
Manage and lead a team of hourly associates in a fast‑pace warehouse environment.
Ensure acceptable levels of performance in the assigned business unit by meeting productivity standards and managing cost control.
Ensure exceptional customer service by meeting key performance indicators such as order fill rate accuracy, unannounced inspections, inventory accuracy, etc.
Achieve performance goals through KPI monitoring, promote LEAN principles, and drive process improvement.
Maintain a clean, professional, and safe work environment, meet or exceed corporate safety goals.
Effectively communicate goals, expectations, areas of improvement, and successes to associates.
Coach, train, and mentor associates to grow and develop.
Conduct annual performance reviews.
Assist clients with their needs and demands.
Qualifications
2+ years of previous experience in a leadership role with a demonstrated track record of implementation and managing change.
Strong ability to collaborate, communicate, and motivate others to accomplish goals.
Demonstrated success in problem solving and decision making to overcome obstacles and maximize opportunities.
Ability to manage a fast‑pace environment while focusing on exceeding operational goals.
Strong organization and multitasking skills, agility, and ability to be cross‑trained.
2 years supervisory experience – required.
Bi‑lingual – preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, web‑based TMS applications – required.
Supply chain/logistics experience – required.
