Own the Flow. Control the Inventory. Keep the Factory Moving.
XNRGY is seeking an experienced
Logistics and Materials Manager
to join the team in Mesa, AZ. We are looking for a hands‑on operational leader who knows how to bring structure, discipline, and control to internal material flow in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
This role is not about transportation strategy or high‑level planning from a desk. It is about owning how materials move inside the factory, ensuring inventory is accurate, transactions are clean, and production always has what it needs to run without disruption.
If you know how to build order out of operational complexity, lead from the floor, and create material flow systems that actually hold up under pressure, this is where you make your impact.
What You’ll Own
Material Flow:
Own and improve internal material flow from receiving through production to finished goods, ensuring smooth and efficient movement across the factory
Inventory Accuracy:
Implement and sustain cycle counting and inventory control processes that improve accuracy, reduce discrepancies, and increase confidence in the system
ERP Ownership:
Ensure all physical material movements are reflected correctly and in real time in Epicor, driving transaction discipline and system integrity.
Standard Work:
Establish and enforce SOPs, standard work, and visual work instructions for material handling and movement process
Floor Execution:
Maintain a strong presence on the production floor, auditing processes, identifying breakdowns, and driving improvements in real time
Team Leadership:
Lead and coach supervisors and material handling teams to reinforce accountability, process adherence, and consistent execution
Performance Metrics:
Build and track operational metrics around inventory accuracy, transaction compliance, and material availability, then use them to drive continuous improvement
Production Support:
Serve as a key partner to production by ensuring materials are available, accurate, and delivered where they need to be without delay
Problem Solving:
Identify root causes behind material‑related disruptions, shortages, or line stoppages and implement corrective actions that prevent recurrence
Safety & Compliance:
Ensure safe handling and movement of materials, including large components moved by forklift or crane, in line with safety standards and best practices
Who You Are
You have deep experience in materials management, internal logistics, or factory material flow within a manufacturing environment
You understand that inventory accuracy is not just a system issue, it is an operational discipline
You know how to connect physical movement on the floor with accurate ERP transactions and strong process control
You are comfortable building structure in environments that are still evolving and not yet fully mature
You lead through presence, clarity, and accountability, not by staying removed from the work
You are hands‑on, action‑oriented, and comfortable solving problems in real time alongside operations
You know how to coach teams, reinforce standards, and create consistency in fast‑moving environments
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
10+ years of experience in materials management, internal logistics, or material flow within a manufacturing environment
Proven ownership of inventory accuracy, cycle counting, and ERP transaction discipline
Strong understanding of material movement processes and their connection to ERP systems, with Epicor experience preferred
Experience developing and implementing standard work, SOPs, and process audits
Hands‑on experience supporting manufacturing operations directly from the production floor
Ability to operate effectively in a fast‑growing or evolving environment and bring structure where processes are still developing
Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to coach teams and drive accountability across functions
