This position reports to the Manager, Quality & Safety with responsibilities to provide technical support to customers for warranty and service on TWG products.
Responsibilities
Manages the daily operation of the Service Department which includes but is not limited to: warranty work, parts orders, returned goods, and resolving customer concerns.
Manages the daily work, overall direction, mentoring, training, and evaluation of assigned department employees.
Works with engineering, manufacturing, sales to resolve warranty and/or quality concerns.
Keeps accurate, detailed records of service calls, sales orders, RMA's, warranties and credits according to company practices.
Provides customer training on TWG product applications as needed.
This position is also responsible for, with authority to follow ISO procedures, initiate action to prevent problems, document quality problems, contribute to problem solutions, verify implementation of solutions, control further processing when a problem is identified, protect the environment, including preventing pollution, analyzing or identifying areas for correction or improvement.
Qualifications / Requirements
Required:
Associate’s degree in Business, Engineering or related field.
2-5+ years of successful supervisory experience, or combination of education and experience.
History of working with geared, technical, and/or hydraulic applications.
Must be able to travel as required and /or directed.
Preferred:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering or related field.
