Overview
Amazon Music is an immersive audio entertainment service that connects fans, artists, and creators worldwide. The Digital Operations team ensures that music and related content flow seamlessly from providers to our global customers across all Amazon Music services.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a geographically‑distributed team of Digital Operations Managers responsible for the completeness, quality, and timeliness of Amazon Music’s global product and service selections.

Participate in and shape international standards development for data and asset exchange across the music industry value chain.

Conceptualize, define, and drive digital supply‑chain improvements by synthesizing partner input, cross‑functional stakeholder perspectives, and industry standards. Collaborate with product and adjacent development teams to streamline and automate content and metadata ingestion.

Maintain strategic partner relationships with senior executives and industry leaders, owning innovation and coordinated execution for new Amazon products, country launches, capabilities, and emerging technologies.

Participate in annual cross‑functional goal planning, prepare strategic recommendations for senior leadership, and act as an escalation point to remove obstacles to the seamless flow of catalog. Establish goals, plans, and metrics to track progress against Amazon Music objectives.

Balance competing and conflicting priorities across business and technical teams, weighing urgency against long‑term needs, and advocate for the organization’s or customers’ best interests.

Basic Qualifications

Experience engaging and influencing senior executives.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.

5+ years of people management in a digital media environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience visualizing data in Tableau or other relevant data visualization software.

Knowledge of SQL at the intermediate level.

Experience with automation or scripting languages such as Python, Java, Perl, PHP, Ruby, Bash, or Shell.

Experience writing business requirements documents, functional specifications, and use cases.

Experience defining roadmap strategy and prioritizing deliverables for your team’s products.

Experience or experimentation with incorporating AI into operational workflows.
