What will make you successful?
Required Education/Experience :
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Bachelors Degree preferred.
Experience in aluminum extrusion business helps but not necessary.
Manage multiple objectives and deadlines, team building, conflict resolution, performance appraisal process, first aid, CPR, mobile equipment and crane training, precision measuring equipment training.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications :
Manage multiple projects, team building, conflict resolution strong working knowledge of Shipping departments.
Personal computer basics (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Strong working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles.
Excellent Problem‑Solving skills, combined with Leadership skills that capitalize on bringing the best out in team members.
What you will be doing
Oversee the administration of all daily, monthly, quarterly and annual activities, including operational reporting, team member evaluations, write ups and record keeping, quality records, payroll, employee coaching for attendance & performance.
Identify and correct unsafe conditions, prior to Injury Free Events occurring.
Act promptly to address items discovered through IFE, WOC, and observation processes.
Conduct regular safety audits and formal observations.
Deliver daily pre-shift safety meetings and deliver safety stand downs as required.
Ensure adherence of company safety rules by team members, outside contractors, visitors, and truck drivers.
