R26\_0000000100**Compensation**$63,310.02 - $140,837.17(Based on Experience)**Summary**We are looking for an Infrastructure Administrator (IA) to join our Operational Technology (OT) Team to design, configure, administer, and secure the GLWA process control systems. Our talented team consists of highly dedicated Infrastructure Administrators, Engineers, and Technicians that work closely together to ensure that the process control systems are available, reliable, secure, and continuously improving.

The OT Infrastructure Administrator is a multifaceted interdisciplinary position that plays a critical role throughout the lifecycle of the OT systems at GLWA. Participatory roles include planning, design, installation, maintenance, system administration, network operations, and cybersecurity operations. Infrastructure Administrator promotes effective teamwork, demonstrates continuous learning, and encourages innovation in others. Responsible and accountable for delivering high standards of work quality and organizational performance. Demonstrate strategic planning and time management. Participate in the development, recommendation, and administration of GLWA-OT policies and procedures.

Applicants should have a passion for learning and excelling.**Job Responsibilities*** Responsible for provisioning, installing/configuring, operating, and maintaining Operational Technology (OT) infrastructure, including Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) systems, radio and network hardware and software, and related peripherals* System administration for GLWA’s DCS and PLC servers, including servers, workstations, historians, and controllers* Consult, coordinate, and communicate with business units and Information Technology (IT) and OT staff, providing solutions and recommendations that integrate with current and future databases, applications, and infrastructure architectures* Responsible for capacity planning and management, security planning and management, data management, systems maintenance, and performance management of one or more systems* Participate in OT planning for hardware, software, and infrastructure* Participate in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the system and infrastructure* Responsible for administering, maintaining, and supporting GLWA's operational technology network and system infrastructure and security, including installation, documentation, administration, and maintenance activities* Responsible for reviewing all technical network and system designs and ensuring that they meet business and technical requirements and GLWA’s network and system infrastructure, and enterprise OT standards* Plan, design, and implement additions, upgrades, replacements, or retirements of network and communications OT infrastructure* Perform new software releases, upgrades, evaluate, and install patches, and resolve network and communications hardware and software-related problems* Determine requirements, design, install, and maintain the network and communications infrastructure* Perform shift work, which includes day, afternoon, night, weekend, and holiday assignments* Follow security and safety policies and procedures in carrying out work duties Provide on-the-job training**Required Education and Experience**At the time of application, applicant must:* Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, or related discipline;* Associate's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related discipline with a minimum of two (2) years of experience as a SCADA Technician, Operational Technology (OT) Systems, or Network Administrator; AND possess a technology-specific entry-level certification (e.g., DCS, SCADA, PLC) or a combination of related work experience and education;* High School Diploma or GED; with a minimum of four (4) years of experience as a SCADA Technician, Operational Technology (OT) Systems, or Network Administrator; **AND** possess a technology-specific entry-level certification (e.g., CompTIA Networking+, Storage+, or Server+) or a combination of related work experience and education**Other Requirements*** A valid Michigan Driver License and the ability to drive a motor vehicle on all terrain* Ability to work irregular hours, to commute to GLWA facilities and work sites**Essential Requirements**The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential duties of this job. Incumbents may be subject to potentially hazardous physical conditions, atmospheric conditions, extreme temperatures, intense noise, and/or vehicle traffic.**Environmental Working Requirements**Work is performed within an office, plant environment, remote sites, or other locations within the GLWA Service Area.
