We are seeking a mid-level
Jira Administrator
to join our Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) Team. This role will support our government client's Program Management Office (PMO) by assisting with the day-to-day administration and configuration of the Atlassian suite, including Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Jira Align, and Confluence. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with these platforms along with a solid understanding of Agile methodologies.
The successful candidate will work to maintain and optimize all Atlassian platforms, support project workflows, and assist teams with platform-related needs. This role focuses on implementing and maintaining configurations across all platforms, creating dashboards and reports, and providing technical support to end users.
Position Location:
Remote/Telework Environment, with occasional travel to client sites as needed.

Required Skills and Experience:
2+ years' experience administering Jira Software and Jira Service Management
2+ years' experience with Jira Align configuration and administration
Strong background in Confluence space administration and template creation
Understanding of Jira configuration, including workflows, schemes, and customizations
Experience creating and maintaining dashboards and reports across all Atlassian platforms
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Key Responsibilities:
Configure and maintain Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Jira Align, and Confluence instances according to established standards
Create and maintain project workflows, custom fields, screens, and permission schemes across all platforms
Build and customize dashboards and reports in both Jira and Confluence to meet team requirements
Support the development and maintenance of Knowledge Base Articles (KBAs) in Confluence
Assist with user administration across all platforms, including managing permissions and access controls
Design and maintain Confluence spaces and templates to support documentation needs
Support portfolio and program-level tracking in Jira Align
Troubleshoot platform-related issues and provide technical support to users
Help implement and maintain project tracking solutions
Participate in the evaluation and implementation of Atlassian apps and integrations
Support Agile teams by configuring and maintaining their project spaces
Document processes and maintain configuration documentation
Education and Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field
Professional certifications in Jira administration (e.g., Atlassian Certified) preferred
