Network Engineer

Overview:
The Network Engineer will be responsible for replacing, implementing, and maintaining advanced network solutions that meet the business requirements of our hospital. This role requires expertise in various network technologies (Extreme Networks, Cisco Wireless & Aruba Wireless-older) and the ability to manage complex network environments. The Hospital wants to replace their Core switches & replace them all & install new hardware.
Requirements :
A. Must have 3-5 yrs experience Extreme Network Switching expertise with the following tech Stack :
Universal Aggregation/Core Switch Platform
Extreme 7520
Universal Stackable Switches
4000 /5520/5420 Series
B. Solid understanding of Cisco Wireless Network architecture, design, configuration, and operations is required.
C. Extensive practical knowledge of switching and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP).
D. Solid understanding of general Network and Security fundamentals.
E. Remotely supporting clients within service level agreements (SLAs),
F. Install and Configure software and hardware as well as resolve incidents,
G. Perform root cause analysis and adhere to any related processes such as change management.
H. Device and network performance analysis and troubleshooting skills
I. Strong oral and written communication skills.
J. Demonstrated technical success in a fast paced, results-oriented engineering environment.
K. Possessing active certifications: Extreme Networks® Certified Specialist (ECS), CCIE, Wireless, Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Wireless or Certified Wireless Network Professional (CWNP), is a strong plus.
