CNC Machinist II
Pay Range:
$27 - $32 + 10% Shift Differential
Shift:
2nd 3pm – 1:30am Mon – Thur
Quick Summary:
The CNC Machinist Level II supports production by independently setting up and running moderately complex CNC jobs while ensuring quality, efficiency, and adherence to shop standards. This role contributes technical knowledge and continuous improvement within the CNC department.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and run 3-axis, 5-axis, and lathe jobs
Create and modify CNC programs to improve efficiency
Check parts for accuracy and quality compliance
Assist with machine maintenance and workstation upkeep
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred
Minimum 3 years CNC machining and/or programming experience
Experience with multi-axis machining and program edits
Strong print reading, GD&T, and inspection skills
