Position Type: Part‑time, adjunct, in‑person only
Compensation: $850 - $1000 per credit, based on adjunct faculty rank (determined by education and experience)
Location: NHTI Concords Community College, Concord, NH
Overview:
NHTI is seeking a qualified adjunct faculty member to teach a variety of history and political science courses. Course offerings may include topics like History of NH, US History 1870‑present, US History to 1870, Western Civilization, and Western Civilization Antiquity to 1650.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Minimum: Master’s degree in history, political science or a relevant field
Experience: Prior teaching experience required and familiarity with Canvas (or similar LMS) preferred
Residency: Must reside in New England
Position Responsibilities:
Course Delivery: Provide instruction using curricula aligned with department and program standards.
Student Engagement: Foster active learning through discussions, assignments, and assessments.
Assessment & Feedback: Evaluate student performance, provide feedback, and maintain accurate records of student progress.
Professional Development: Stay current in your field and adhere to institutional policies and guidelines.
