Salary : $2,550 - $3,200 as determined by qualifications and enrollments
Required : Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Spanish language and/or literature.
Preferred : Ph.D. in Spanish Language and/or literature with significant university teaching experience, both in-person and online. Experience with learning platforms such as Blackboard.
Primary Responsibilities :
Teach Spanish courses at a variety of times and locations, including undergraduate or graduate levels.
Create engaging lessons that promote student involvement and application of the material.
Use a course syllabus for each course, following established institutional guidelines.
Evaluate students to measure progress in achieving course objectives and inform students in a timely manner.
Maintain professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community.
Instruction may be asynchronous or synchronous web-based or residential on the Alpine campus.
