Applications for Part-Time Educational Administration Adjunct Faculty will be accepted on an ongoing basis and will be reviewed as needed. Job Summary
Educational Administration Adjunct Faculty assist with the instructional delivery of courses taken by graduate program majors. Educational Administration adjunct faculty teach up to 6 hours (two 3-hour courses) per semester. Typical courses focus on Building and District Level Administration.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Instruction in synchronous and asynchronous online formats.
Assessment of student learning outcomes.
Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
A doctoral degree in Educational Leadership or Educational Administration.
Five years of experience as a practicing licensed administrator is required for teaching.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Experience and/or familiarity with P-12 Leadership theory or research associated with building/district level leadership.
Experience and/or familiarity with basic principles governing P-12 operations.
Experience and/or familiarity with laws governing P-12 operations.
Demonstrated ability to deliver accurate, concise and quality communication (verbal and written) in a timely manner.
Experience setting clear performance expectations and provision of meaningful feedback.
Experience and/or familiarity with technology use, particularly in the P-12 school setting.
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated success in university teaching.
3 years of experience as a public school district-level administrator.
