We have an opening for a Renewable Generation Supervisor. Otter Tail Power Company is a growing vertically integrated investor‑owned electric utility that provides an essential service to over 130,000 customers across 70,000 square miles. The Renewable Generation Supervisor will serve as the on‑site representative at GE Wind farms supporting Otter Tail Power–owned assets. This role is responsible for the safe, reliable, and cost‑effective operation and maintenance of wind generation assets, oversight of capital projects, and development of operating and maintenance standards across the wind fleet. The ideal candidate is a motivated, self‑directed professional with experience in GE wind turbines, familiarity with NERC and FERC requirements, strong Microsoft Office skills for operational analysis and reporting, and the ability to manage contracted labor.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain wind generation assets safely and reliably.

Manage capital projects and ensure timely delivery.

Develop and enforce operating and maintenance standards across the wind fleet.

Analyze operational data and produce reports using Microsoft Office.

Coordinate and manage contracted labor for maintenance activities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (preferred) or equivalent experience.

Experience with GE wind turbines.

Familiarity with NERC and FERC regulatory requirements.

Strong Microsoft Office skills for analysis and reporting.

Ability to manage contracted labor and lead on‑site teams.

The expected offer for this role is $84,000 – $115,000 annually; actual base compensation will vary based on relevant factors.
