Overview
The Psychology and Child Development Department invites applications for a one‑year, full‑time (non‑tenure‑track) lecturer appointment in Psychology beginning August 17, 2026, with possible one‑year extension to AY 27/28 contingent on budget, department need, and satisfactory evaluations.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will teach PSY3372 (Multicultural Psychology) and PSY3323 (The Helping Relationship). The expected teaching load is 4 courses per semester, with potential summer teaching opportunities.

Required Qualifications

A master’s degree with a specialization in clinical/counseling and/or multicultural psychology.

Teaching experience in multicultural or clinical/counseling psychology.

Preferred Qualifications

Teaching experience in both multicultural and clinical/counseling psychology.

Experience teaching Multicultural Psychology, The Helping Relationship, and Introduction to Clinical and Counseling Psychology.
