What You'll Do
Develop detailed CAD drawings and models for concrete pipe and precast products based on project requirements.
Interpret project plans, specifications, and codes to produce accurate and functional designs.
Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and clients to clarify design needs and resolve discrepancies.
Assist in preparing bills of materials and other technical documentation.
Ensure all designs adhere to company standards, industry regulations, and safety requirements.
Review and revise designs to incorporate feedback or changes as needed.
Support the production team with technical guidance and resolve design-related issues during manufacturing.
Maintain accurate records of design files and project documentation.
Stay updated on advancements in design software, tools, and industry trends.
What You'll Need
Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical drawings.
Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software.
Working knowledge of ERP/inventory control software, preferably Titan.
Understanding of precast concrete design, production methods, and industry standards.
Your Education
High school diploma or GED required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in engineering technology, drafting, or a related field preferred.
