JR102559**Work Shift:**The Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant is responsible for treating assigned patients including obtaining accurate prescription, reviewing charts adequately and documenting according to departmental policy.
Qualifications:
A. Education & Training:
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
B. Experience:
Three (3) internships/affiliations satisfactorily completed.
C. Required Certification/Registration/Licensure:
Current PTA licensure by the Georgia State Board of Physical Therapy. Current AHA BLS certification. Must obtain and maintain required ortho education/training as mandated in the Houston Healthcare Joint Destination Center of Excellence Policy. Must obtain and maintain required stroke education/training as mandated in the Houston Healthcare Primary Stroke Center/Acute Stroke Ready Designation Policy.
D. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
