
Radiology - CT Tech

The CT Technologist, under the direction of the Radiology Manager and the Radiologist, performs computerized tomography procedures including those of an invasive nature using a Toshiba Aquilon 64 slice scanner. This role involves positioning and instructing patients, operating specialized equipment, and determining technical factors for exposure while ensuring correct marking and labeling of all films. The CT Technologist must consistently provide safe, quality patient care and will be required to take call.

Provide safe, quality patient care.
Be available for call duties as needed.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Graduate of an approved AMA school of Radiology.
Registered with the ARRT.
Possess knowledge in cross-sectional anatomy.
Two years of diagnostic experience is desirable.
Ability to perform moderate to heavy physical effort, applying proper body mechanics.
Good stamina, flexibility, and manual dexterity for operating delicate equipment.
Computer skills are necessary.
