Staff Development & Infection Control Registered Nurse (RN) . This leadership role focuses on
staff education, orientation, and infection prevention programs
to ensure high-quality resident care and regulatory compliance.
Work closely with the
Director of Nursing
to support staff training, oversee infection control practices, and promote a culture of safety and excellence.

Responsibilities
Coordinate orientation and ongoing education programs for nursing staff
Conduct training, in-services, and competency evaluations
Maintain staff education records and training materials
Monitor compliance with OSHA, infection control, and regulatory standards
Oversee the facility Infection Control Program and infection tracking logs
Ensure staff complete required infection control training and vaccination documentation
Participate in Quality Assurance, Safety, and Infection Control committees
Conduct audits and rounds to ensure regulatory and clinical compliance
Assist the DON with infection prevention strategies and policy implementation
Support interdisciplinary teams to promote quality resident care
Qualifications
Active
Registered Nurse (RN) license in Delaware or Compact State
Minimum
2 years nursing experience
(long-term care or assisted living preferred)
Knowledge of infection control practices and regulatory requirements
Strong communication, training, and organizational skills
Experience with Microsoft Office
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 100 lbs with assistance
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
