Must-Have Skills & Tools:

Firewall Management:

Expertise in

Juniper firewall , including rule/policy cleanup and optimization. Strong proficiency in

TCP/IP and Internet Protocol

is essential.
Compliance Oversight:

Ensuring adherence to firewall, Internet Protocol, and network security standards.
Process & Documentation Improvement:

Experience developing

MOPS, SOPs, playbooks , and structured task lists to enhance team processes.
Automation & Monitoring Tools:

Firewall Analyzer

- Utilized for automation.
AlgoSec & JSA

- Essential for monitoring and refining overly permissive firewall policies.

Attention to Detail:

Precision is critical for effective firewall policy cleanup and security optimization.
AI Exposure (for 1/3 of candidates):

While this is

not

a coding position, familiarity with AI-related security is beneficial.
