Overview:
A public sector client of ours in Austin, Texas is looking for a Senior .NET Architect for a 5-month remote contract opportunity that is likely to extend.

The

Senior .NET Architect

will lead the

architecture, design, and development

of

web applications

using

.NET 8.0 and Blazor . This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring application performance and responsiveness, and maintaining high

code quality and organization . The

Senior .NET Architect

will also provide

technical guidance and mentorship , staying up-to-date with

industry trends and emerging technologies

to ensure competitive solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Architect, design, and develop

web applications using

.NET 8.0 and Blazor .
Collaborate with teams

to define and implement new features.
Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness .
Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs .
Maintain and enforce code quality, organization, and automation .
Provide technical leadership and mentorship

to development teams.
Work in an agile environment

to meet evolving business needs.

Required Experience:

8 years

- Experience in

architecture, design, and development

of web applications using

.NET .
8 years

- Strong understanding of

design principles .
8 years

- Proficiency in

C#

for backend development.
8 years

- Extensive experience with

Oracle databases .
8 years

- Experience with

technical documentation

for software development.
8 years

- Hands-on experience with

RESTful APIs

and

microservices architecture .
8 years

- Experience working as a

Software Architect .
6 years

- Experience with

Blazor Server and Blazor WSM .
3 years

- Experience with

.NET 7.0 and later

versions.
Preferred Experience:

Familiarity with DevOps practices

and

CI/CD pipelines .
