Primary Duties and Responsibilities

In this role you will be responsible for ordering, inventory, and distribution of medical supplies throughout the Ronald Reagan Medical Center and/or ambulatory clinics to ensure the clinical staff have all needed supplies for patient care. Deliveries may include driving university vehicles to transport supplies and equipment to UCLA clinics.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Distribution and transport of supplies and equipment as assigned within all facilities at UCLA Health System including community clinics
Work closely with the assigned areas' clinical staff to identify their product needs and staging preferences
Set up and or modify products within a supply management software
Place electronic orders using a handheld or third‑party software to replenish inventory
Reconcile packing slips against ordered and delivered content using multiple software platforms
Assist in managing backordered items via notification stickers and on‑hand counts
Assist clinical staff with researching patient supplies used for charge posting reconciliations
Write daily summaries of daily activities using an Excel template
This is a “as needed” part‑time per diem position; total working hours and shifts will vary. May convert to Career.
Salary range: $26.31 per hour
Job Qualifications

Required:
Hold a valid driver’s license, maintain a driving record in accordance with local policies, and/or enroll in the California Employer Pull Notice Program.
Ability to push/pull up to 100 pounds, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to drive university vehicles.
Ability to operate supply dollies, heavy‑duty transport carts, electric pallet jack, manual pallet jack, and forklift.
Self‑starter with effective time management and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to maintain a positive attitude and work as a team in a fast‑paced environment.
Flexibility to changes in workload, assignments, and schedules across different shifts and weekends.
Organized to stay current in required HR online competency classes on policy and safety between tasks.
Consistently maintain a safe, clean working environment and report unsafe acts or conditions.
High proficiency in English to articulate issues, concerns, and responses verbally and electronically.
Actively participate in Quality Management and PIE programs; adheres to Materials Management and UCLA policies/procedures.
Ability to attend all workshops, classes, drills, etc. as requested.
Preferred:
Previous hospital, purchasing, accounting, inventory stocking, tracking experience.
Experience managing orders and optimizing inventory pars with Lawson, WaveMark or any ERP.
