Activities
Perform manufacturing engineering and operational tasks in the foundry under the supervision of a metallurgist
Support weekly casting events with the production team
Participate in foundry quality control functions such as chemical testing, mechanical testing, sand testing, and process improvement activities
Participate in cost reduction activities and operational improvements to satisfy customer needs
Qualifications
Currently enrolled as a college student
Basic knowledge of metal casting processes and foundry manufacturing
Basic personal computer proficiency (word processing, internet, e‑mail, electronic data retrieval)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience or education in metal casting, metallurgy, and chemical engineering
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
