
Certified Medical Assistant

Dakota Dermatology is seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. Our independent dermatology practice is fast‑paced, team‑driven, and patient‑focused.
The position is full‑time, typically working 32‑40 hours per week with daily shifts M‑F between 7:00am and 5:00pm. The Certified Medical Assistant will work with provider team with occasional travel to outreach clinics and schedule flexibility is required.
This position is a vital member of our team and performs the following duties with professionalism and dignity:
Cares for clinic patients under the direction of a physician, physician assistant, or certified nurse practitioner.
Participates in patient exams, procedures, and surgeries.
Documents the visit in our EHR system and uses computers and iPads to maintain records.
Develops relationships with patients, insurance companies, and other providers through correspondence, appointment and procedure management, coordinating insurance authorizations, managing prescriptions, and collaborative care through referrals.
Maintains a steady flow in fast‑paced environment by turning over rooms, prepping equipment and treatments, and upholding strong communication throughout the clinic.
Pay scale is $23.00 to $30.00 per hour with consideration for skills and experience.

Job Requirements
Required: Graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant program and maintaining certification or registration through AAMA, AMT, or other nationally approved certification program.
Preferred: Previous clinic and EHR experience
