Strong experience in Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), financial consolidation & reporting, SQL, data integration (FDMEE/ETL), GAAP/IFRS knowledge, and production support/troubleshooting.
Summary
We are seeking an experienced
HFM Developer
with strong expertise in
Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM)
to support financial consolidation, reporting, and system optimisation initiatives. The ideal candidate will work closely with finance and IT stakeholders to enhance system performance, ensure data accuracy, and streamline financial processes.
Responsibilities
Develop, enhance, and maintain
HFM applications
to support financial consolidation and reporting requirements
Collaborate with finance teams and business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into technical solutions
Design and implement
business rules, calculations, and data validation logic
within HFM
Optimize HFM system performance, data loads, and reporting processes
Support
monthly/quarterly financial close cycles
and troubleshoot system issues
Ensure compliance with
financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements
Perform
data reconciliation, metadata management, and system maintenance
Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and enhancements
Provide ongoing production support and resolve HFM-related incidents
Required
5+ years of experience as an
HFM Developer / Hyperion Consultant
Strong hands-on experience with
Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM)
Experience in
financial consolidation, close, and reporting processes
Proficiency in
SQL
and database concepts
Experience with
data integrations
(FDMEE, ETL tools, or similar)
Strong understanding of
accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS)
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system and data issues
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred
Experience with other Hyperion tools (Planning, Essbase, Financial Reporting)
Exposure to
Oracle EPM Cloud
is a plus
Experience working in
large enterprise environments
Knowledge of
automation/scripting
for HFM processes
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or related field
