
Senior Settlement Processor

Job Summary:
Under the direct supervision of Title Branch Manager, the Sr. Settlement Processor is responsible for pre-closing, coordination with lenders, preparing closing statements, issuing title policies, preparation and recording of documents and making appropriate disbursements associated with the settlement and post-closing.
Essential Responsibilities:
Communicate with the lenders, real estate offices and service companies to obtain the information needed to proceed to the settlement table;
Verify the accuracy of the lenders package;
Preparing packages for settlement, Closing Disclosures, Title Commitments
Assist clients, agents with questions regarding upcoming settlement;
Contact agents and clients with closing status;
Contact agents to notify of any conditions and/or requirements;
Communicate with lenders and other applicable parties regarding fees, taxes, conditions, obtaining conveyancing and other items associated with upcoming settlement;
Responsible for gathering data from real estate office, lenders, tax collectors, sewer/water authorities, ect.
Prepare daily deposits
Process incoming and outgoing recordings and letters of indemnity
Other duties as required
Minimum Requirements:

Associate’s Degree or equivalent
Minimum of 3 to 5 years title specific or similar experience
Have title industry software knowledge
Notary Public
Licensed title insurance agent
Must be a quick learner, able to adapt easily to fast-paced, high volume environment
People skills with strong customer support orientation is necessary
Ability to multi-task effectively, particularly in stressful situations
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook,)
