Acadia Healthcare's Comprehensive Treatment Centers (CTC) division operates 170+ CARF-accredited outpatient opioid treatment programs (OTPs) nationwide, serving patients undergoing treatment for opioid use disorder (OUD). As the leading provider of medication-assisted treatment (MAT) in the nation, we care for more than 74,000 patients daily. Location:
This position is located in Franklin, Tennessee.
Hours:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. This position offers a hybrid schedule option.

Your Job as a Billing Application Analyst:
As a key member of the Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) Central Billing Office (CBO) team, the Billing Application Analyst is responsible for completion of carrier and service setup and issue resolution related to billing in all CTC EMR applications and external software used. The Billing Application Analyst is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and modifying billing systems including carrier setup, billable services, claim testing in order to support billing for the CTC Division.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for implementation and maintenance of billing setup for the CTC Division EMR applications and clearinghouses
Ensures accurate and timely billing setup for new carriers/clinics
Assists in issue resolution when they occur in EMR applications; coordinating with internal IT support as well as external EMR and clearinghouse vendors
Develops solution by preparing and evaluating alternative work/low solutions in collaboration with internal and external resources
Provides EMR and system training and support to CBO and clinic staff
Provides reference and training documentation based on billing and company best practices
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
Accomplishes information systems and organization mission by completing related results as needed
Lead and/or support multiple billing projects at any given time
Maintains current knowledge of coding guidelines through the use of CPT, HCPCS II and ICD-10 materials
Maintains payer plans based on contractual agreements and regulatory guidelinesPromotes teamwork, remaining available to assist CBO and clinic staff as needed
Assists in areas of needs as assigned by management
Lead and/or support multiple deployments at any given time
Client and vendor management and satisfaction
Qualifications
Your Education & Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
Minimum 2 recent years of experience in healthcare medical billing is required
1 year of experience with multiple EMR applications; (Methasoft and SMART experience is preferred)
Your Skills:
Strong communication skills with an ability to coordinate with multiple departments
Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels; both internal and external
Exercises sound judgment in responding to inquiries; understands when to route inquiries to next level
Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and superior attention to detail
Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously within inflexible time frames. Ability to adapt to frequent priority changes
Capable of working within established policies, procedures and practices prescribed by the organization
