Job Description
My client is seeking a Senior Fabric Developer to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and architectures within Microsoft Fabric, supporting Lakehouse/Warehouse solutions, Medallion architecture, and governed analytics. This role partners closely with BI and business stakeholders to deliver trusted Power BI semantic models, enforce data quality, security, and compliance (Purview/RBAC), and enable advanced analytics and AI initiatives. The ideal candidate brings strong SQL and Python skills, hands-on Fabric experience, and a DevOps/Agile mindset with CI/CD and Git-based workflows.
Responsibilities/Must Haves:
Hands-on Microsoft Fabric expertise (Data Factory, Dataflows Gen2, Notebooks, Lakehouse/Warehouse) with proven experience building reliable, incremental ETL/ELT pipelines and Medallion architecture.
Strong SQL (T-SQL) and Python skills for data transformation, automation, and performance optimization, plus experience publishing governed Power BI semantic models (DAX/Power Query).
Governance, security, and DevOps experience in regulated environments, including RBAC, data quality/lineage (Microsoft Purview), and CI/CD with Git (Azure DevOps preferred).
