Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled
DevOps Engineer
with a strong emphasis on
Ansible automation
and
containerization
(e.g., Kubernetes, Docker). In this role, you will design and maintain end-to-end DevOps processes, ensuring secure and efficient delivery of both infrastructure and software products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to implement and uphold DevOps best practices-particularly around CI/CD, security, and compliance.
Cloud experience (e.g., GCP)
is a plus but not required.
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities (80%)

Infrastructure Automation
Create and manage
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
to improve reliability and consistency of environments.
Develop and maintain automated infrastructure solutions using
Ansible
for configuration management.
Containerization & Orchestration
Ensure best practices for container security and orchestration are followed.
Spearhead containerization efforts, leveraging
Docker
and
Kubernetes
(or similar tools) for application packaging, deployment, and scaling.
Continuous Integration & Deployment
Integrate testing and security scans into the pipeline to maintain code quality and compliance.
Design, implement, and optimize
CI/CD pipelines
to automate build, test, and deployment workflows.
Security & Compliance
Work in regulated environments, adhering to stringent security and compliance standards.
Implement secure handling of secrets and credentials, following industry best practices.
Collaboration & Mentorship
Mentor junior engineers, providing training on automation, containerization, and DevOps best practices.
Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to embed DevOps methodologies across the organization.
Participate in the organization's emergency response efforts (e.g., training, short-term travel, backfill duties).
Follow and help refine change management and notification procedures.
Assist in the implementation of additional security solutions.
Analyze and propose enhancements to the enterprise environment.
