
Warehouse Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY
The Warehouse Supervisor at BYLT Basics is responsible for overseeing key functional areas of the Grand Prairie, TX distribution center, including Inbound Receiving, Putaway, Picking, Packing, Outbound Shipping, Inventory Control, and Returns. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role ensures the timely, accurate, and efficient flow of inventory while enforcing standard operating procedures and safety compliance.
This position will be onboarded ahead of the Grand Prairie facility go-live to gain a deep understanding of current operations and play a critical role in supporting a seamless transition into the new 100,000 sq. ft. distribution center. The Warehouse Supervisor will provide hands‑on leadership, drive performance, and foster a high‑accountability, team‑oriented environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee and manage day‑to‑day warehouse operations across all functional areas, ensuring productivity, accuracy, and service level expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
Plan and allocate labor effectively based on volume forecasts, operational demands, and staffing needs; provide recommendations to leadership on workforce planning.
Enforce compliance with all warehouse policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), productivity standards, and safety regulations.
Lead, coach, and develop warehouse associates, including temporary staff, ensuring proper onboarding, training, and performance management.
Conduct interviews and participate in hiring decisions for warehouse team members across multiple levels.
Review and approve timekeeping, including bi‑weekly timecards and PTO requests, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Manage workflows within the Avectous Warehouse Management System (WMS), ensuring accurate inventory tracking, ASN processing, and order fulfillment.
Partner with the Operations team to support nightly NetSuite inventory reconciliation and reporting.
Support and maintain integration with Libiao robotic automation systems; coordinate with AirRob to ensure optimal system performance and uptime.
Analyze operational data, monitor trends, and generate reports to support business needs and continuous improvement initiatives.
Identify operational inefficiencies or discrepancies and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
Maintain a strong presence on the warehouse floor, ensuring a high standard of quality, accuracy, and customer service.
Lead employee relations matters, including conducting performance discussions and issuing corrective actions when necessary.
Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and maintain OSHA compliance across the facility.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall warehouse operations.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE / SKILLS
3+ years of supervisory experience in a distribution center, logistics, or high‑volume operations environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including Receiving, Putaway, Picking, Packing, Shipping, Inventory Control, and Returns.
Familiarity with material handling equipment and end‑to‑end merchandise flow.
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); Avectous experience preferred.
Exposure to robotic or automated warehouse systems is a plus.
Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all levels of the organization.
Proficient in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and general computer systems.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as business needs require.
