About the role:
This position is located onsite and is responsible for assisting the Staff Accountant and Assistant Director of Finance in maintaining the general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations. This position has direct contact with employees and guests, which requires effective communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
What you will do:
Responsible for performing with accuracy and timeliness, all accounting and financial reporting for our Vail property.
Ensures compliance with internal controls and safeguards the assets and resources of the hotel.
Ensure monthly bank reconciliations, cash counts of all issued banks, including the general cashier, andreportany discrepancies to the Staff Accountant.
Responsible for coordinating and supporting ouroffshoreAP, Income Audit, and Payroll teams as needed.
Maintain harmonious and professional relationships with all departments and Home Office.
What you bring:
College degree and1+ years management experience infinance, preferably in a hotel setting.
Requires a working technical knowledge ofgenerally acceptedaccounting principals
Service Passion for Luxury Hospitality
Requires attention to detail andproblem-solvingskills
Fluency in English is required for this location and this job requires applicants to have current work authorization in the in the United States.
