Strong network security experience with

Fortinet FortiGate firewalls ,

IPSEC/SSL VPNs , perimeter & edge security, secure remote access ( Zscaler ZPA, FortiClient ), solid IP networking fundamentals, and enterprise security tools ( FortiManager/FortiAnalyzer, SolarWinds, ThousandEyes ).

We are seeking a highly skilled

Network Security Engineer

to support

perimeter and edge security initiatives

within our Network Security project team. This role is hands-on and focused on

firewall implementations, VPN connectivity, and securing communications

between internal systems and external entities such as customers, partners, and Internet-facing environments.

The ideal candidate has deep expertise with

Fortinet technologies , strong networking fundamentals, and experience operating in fast-paced, enterprise environments.
Required Skills & Experience

5-8 years

of overall IT experience
4+ years

of networking and/or network security experience
Strong understanding of:
IP networking fundamentals
Firewall rules, ports, policies, and traffic flows
VPN technologies (IPSEC, SSL-VPN)

Hands-on experience with Fortinet FortiGate firewalls - REQUIRED
Experience with routers, switches, and core networking technologies
Experience supporting secure remote access solutions such as:
Zscaler ZPA
FortiClient

Familiarity with network/security tools including:
SolarWinds
ThousandEyes
AlgoSec
FortiManager / FortiAnalyzer

Exposure to

automation and orchestration tools

(Terraform, GitHub, etc.)
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, CIS, or equivalent practical experience
