Must be ready at all times to have camera ON while working

MUST have a quiet, dedicated space for remote work with strong internet connection. Cannot have background noise or any other distractions.

Working Hours:

Mostly 7:30 AM - 5 PM CT with ability to flex more as required.

Overtime must be approved in advance

Do not exceed 8 hours/day unless approved by supervisor.

Doctors appts, sick, travel - ALL must be communicated at least 24-48 hrs. in advance at a minimum.

Communication + Clarity have to be EXTREMELY good. Big issue in the past. Very proficient in English Language

Can NOT be working other engagements. This must be their only source of employment.

1. Can you walk us through a full-stack web application you've built using .NET and Azure? How did you handle both the backend (e.g., C#, Entity Framework) and frontend (e.g., JavaScript, React) integration with Azure services?

2. What is your experience with managing DevOps pipelines in Azure DevOps? Can you explain a challenging situation you encountered when configuring CI/CD pipelines (e.g., handling different branches, managing deployment environments) and how you overcame it?

3. Could you describe a scenario where you implemented Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Azure Resource Manager templates or another IaC tool? How did it improve the deployment and management of your infrastructure?

4. Please articulate your experience working with Managed Identities and Azure Security Methodologies.

Position Title: Sr. Azure Developer

Description:

The purpose of this position is to perform full stack Software/Web Development functions including architect, design and develop new software/web applications, maintain critical business applications, enhance existing systems, perform unit and system testing, perform support, and help desk tasks. The position is intended to work in an Agile and collaborative DevOps environment in a leadership role. It also requires defining and adopting best practices for each of the software/web development functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Familiar with Azure cloud technology, concept of SaaS, PaaS, IaaS and ability to develop, configurate and deploy web applications in Azure app service, blob storage, B2C, Azure SQL and Serverless services.
• Develop and enhance applications in Microsoft Technology Stack with .Net Framework, C# and OOP using Visual Studio.
• Build and utilize WCF and RESTful APIs.
• Develop and maintain Web Applications using various tech stacks (ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#.NET, Node.js)
• Design, develop and maintain complex MSSQL Stored Procedures, Functions and Views.
• Maintain Code Libraries for modular, scalable code.
• Debug and troubleshoot existing code.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps use for tracking work (Projects/Epics/Features/Stories/Tasks), maintaining code (Repos, Branches), code review (Pull Requests).
• Experience creating release pipelines with infrastructure as code methodologies (Bicep and/or Terraform).
• Produce technical documentation.
• Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle in a team environment.
• Able to multi-task and adapt to shifting priorities.
• Follow industry best practices and company standard secure coding practices.

Must have
• Azure Cloud Service experience
• CI/CD experience (likely more that consuming services built by someone else)

o IaC experience
• Proven experience migrating/rewriting legacy MS application platforms to Azure Cloud services
• On-premises to Cloud software re-write/rearchitect
• Come in - Assess and take the reins into converting legacy code into Azure Services/Objects

o Work closely with the Architect and refactor

o IaC is very important - Able to guide the team in doing this well
