SDET / ETL Backend Tester (Java + Selenium)
Location:

Hybrid - Reston, VA (Local to DMV only) Candidates must reside in the

Washington, D.C. area (no Relocation)

This position is remote however we are seeking candidates that reside the DMV (DC, MD, VA) area for occasional onsite meetings and a final F2F round interview.

Java/Selenium automation ,

ETL/backend testing ,

strong SQL

on large datasets,

Jenkins scripting ,

Agile/Scrum , and

healthcare insurance (Claims/Enrollment)

experience.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using

Java and Selenium
Perform

ETL/backend testing

including data validation and transformation checks
Write and optimize complex

SQL queries

for large datasets
Execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
Work with

Jenkins

for CI/CD automation and scripting
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments
Perform defect tracking and reporting using tools like

JIRA/ALM
Validate data across systems including relational and NoSQL databases
Required
6+ years of experience in

SDET / QA Automation
Strong experience with

ETL Backend Testing + Automation (Java/Selenium)
Excellent

SQL querying skills

(large and complex datasets)
Experience working with

large-scale data environments (millions of records)
Hands-on experience with

Jenkins scripting and CI/CD pipelines
Experience in

Agile/Scrum methodologies
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Healthcare insurance domain experience

(Claims or Enrollment)
Bachelor's Degree (BS required)
Preferred
Experience with

DB2 (UDB/Mainframe) and MongoDB
Exposure to

SoapUI

or similar API testing tools
Experience with

GenAI testing
