Job Title: Programmer - Advanced (Application Development) ( 10780)

Candidate Location:
Must be a CURRENT South Carolina resident (No relocation)
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain custom applications across multiple technologies
Develop and manage relational databases and data structures
Support integration between new and legacy systems
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in applications
Modify and enhance existing applications for performance improvements
Ensure data integrity and consistency across systems
Collaborate with technical teams to streamline workflows and system interactions
Provide end-user training and technical support when required
Maintain documentation, project plans, and status updates
Perform quality control checks on applications and databases
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science
10+ years of experience in database design and development across:
Microsoft SQL Server
Oracle
MySQL
PostgreSQL
10+ years of experience in application development using:
VB.NET
ASP.NET
C#
ColdFusion
Strong experience in:
Full SDLC (Design, Development, Testing, Deployment, Support)
Data-driven and web-based application development
System integration and data flow management
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with Horry County Schools applications such as:
Online Academic Application
Ticketing System
Travel Application
