We are seeking a highly skilled
Cloud Engineer (AWS)
to design, build, and manage cloud-based infrastructure in support of a leading eCommerce platform. This role requires a
hands-on engineer
who can balance architecture with execution, ensuring that applications and services are
resilient, performant, and secure . The Cloud Engineer will play a key role in supporting AI-driven user experiences, enabling secure integrations, and proactively optimizing the environment for scale and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Engineer and maintain AWS-based enterprise and eCommerce infrastructure to support business-critical operations.
Ensure the eCommerce platform is
secure, highly available, and performant , acting as a guardian against outages and breaches.
Implement
secure integrations
and standardized environments to streamline deployments.
Support the launch and operation of
AI-driven applications
and infrastructure (not model development, but enablement).
Drive automation and standardization across cloud infrastructure to accelerate delivery and improve reliability.
Monitor and optimize
cloud costs (FinOps)
to ensure efficient use of AWS resources.
Collaborate with security, application development, and operations teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Provide hands-on troubleshooting, incident response, and root cause analysis for infrastructure issues.
Qualifications
5-10 years
of experience as a Cloud Engineer or related role managing enterprise-scale infrastructure.
Strong expertise in
AWS cloud services
(EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation/Terraform, etc.).
Hands-on experience with
infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and environment standardization .
Proven background in
application delivery
and cloud-based system operations.
Solid understanding of
cloud security
principles and best practices; disaster recovery knowledge a plus.
Experience in
eCommerce or consumer products
industries highly preferred but not required.
Exposure to
AI/ML infrastructure enablement
is a strong plus.
Familiarity with
cloud cost optimization (FinOps)
best practices preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
