
Transfer Pricing Manager

We are currently looking for a Transfer Pricing Manager in Italy.
This role offers the opportunity to shape and drive global transfer pricing strategies within a complex international organization operating across multiple business units and jurisdictions. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with evolving tax regulations while optimizing the organization’s global tax position. Acting as a strategic advisor, you will work closely with finance, tax, and business stakeholders to assess risks, guide decision‑making, and support cross‑border operations. The position combines technical expertise with strong stakeholder management in a highly international and collaborative environment. You will also contribute to the development of internal tools, data‑driven insights, and governance frameworks that strengthen global tax processes. Accountabilities
Develop and implement global transfer pricing strategies ensuring tax efficiency while maintaining full compliance with international and local regulations
Contribute to the global tax framework by managing intercompany financing policies and overseeing group‑wide transfer pricing guidelines
Analyze and interpret complex financial and tax data to support strategic decision‑making and regulatory reporting requirements (e.g., CbCR, OECD Pillar I)
Support transfer pricing disputes, audits, and negotiations including MAP and APA processes with tax authorities
Identify, assess, and mitigate tax risks linked to business operations and cross‑border transactions
Act as a center of expertise for transfer pricing across regions, supporting governance and best practice sharing
Advise business stakeholders on regulatory changes and the tax impact of evolving business models
Enhance and support the development of internal tools, systems, and processes for transfer pricing management
Foster cross‑functional collaboration and knowledge sharing across global finance and tax teams
Requirements
University degree in tax economics, tax law, finance, or equivalent, with at least 5 years of experience in transfer pricing or international tax
Strong knowledge of international transfer pricing regulations and global tax frameworks (OECD guidelines)
Solid understanding of business operations and ability to translate tax concepts into practical business advice
Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and tax documentation platforms
Proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, KNIME)
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills with a proactive mindset
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills in a multicultural environment
Digital and AI‑savvy with the ability to leverage modern tools for data‑driven decision‑making
Fluent in English, with strong cross‑cultural communication abilities
Ability to work independently while contributing to consensus‑driven environments
