Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
The Compensation Analyst administers wage and salary administration and educates and trains management about compensation policies and programs while providing expert and accurate advice to staff and management.
The Compensation Analyst determines pay grades, prepares job descriptions based on job responsibilities, participates in compensation surveys and provides wage and salary administration in accordance with AtlantiCare policy and DOL regulations.
Shares best practices related to Performance Management across AtlantiCare Business Units. Provides recommendations concerning JCHAO requirements and HR's role in Survey Readiness.
This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and cooperation.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in human resource management or related field required or equivalent experience.
EXPERIENCE:
2+ years compensation administration experience, within the human resources/hospital function required. Premium job evaluation, market analysis, and strong analytical skills required. Knowledge of Microsoft Computer Applications required. Excellent interpersonal and customer services skills required. The appropriate candidate is detail oriented and able to function independently.
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
Demonstrates the competencies as established on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool for this position.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position requires desk/computer work a majority of the time. This position requires some standing and walking and occasional lifting up to 20 pounds required.

REPORTING
This position reports to Department Leadership and may supervise or direct incumbents as assigned.

Pay Range: $68,973.00 - $103,477.00
