Facilities Specialist - Custodian

Custodian – 2nd Shift (2:30 pm – 11 pm)
Responsible for maintaining a clean facility by completing a variety of cleaning tasks.
Duties include mopping and vacuuming floors, cleaning surfaces with disinfectant, etc.
Follow SOP 724-001 and/or 724-002, when applicable
All common areas: Keep phones, walls, wall hangings, ledges, doors, trim work, windowsills, display cases and other vertical and horizontal surfaces dirt & dust‑free.
In common areas: Check & report to Manager any structural defects, broken dispensers, broken and/or missing floor tiles, etc.
Daily: Clean Time Clock & Han San Touch Points
As Needed: Clean interior & exterior of trash cans
As Needed: Clean floor signs
Clean ceiling vents before floor care/vacuum and remove dust if it gets on furniture
Clean windowsills if applicable
Remove cobwebs around all exterior doors and executive wing windows
At end of shift, check exterior steps, landings, walkways, docks & sweep & remove leaves
Monitor supplies, submit order form to facilities manager, put supplies away
Maintain daily cleaning checklist. Record your initial next to “Completed” when work is done
Other duties as assigned
Education
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) with technical or trade school emphasis required.
