
Senior Quality Systems Specialist

Position Responsibilities
Maintain and update Excel raw-data for nonconforming parts, ensuring data integrity, standardized fields, and documentation of sources
Develop and maintain Excel pivot tables, formulas, and templates for ad‑hoc analysis and staging of data for BI tools
Build, publish, and refresh Power BI datasets and dashboards that summarize KPIs (nonconforming count, rate, cost, CAR aging) for executive and operational audiences
Design and maintain Tableau workbooks and dashboards for root‑cause analysis, control charts, supplier performance, and part‑level detail
Use Power Query / Tableau Prep to ingest, cleanse, and merge inspection, MES, and ERP data on a scheduled basis
Export and assemble weekly/monthly PowerPoint reports: capture visuals from Power BI/Tableau, write concise executive summaries, and annotate key actions
Troubleshoot data discrepancies between source systems, Excel staging, and BI dashboards; perform root‑cause data validation and reconciliation
Partner with Operations, Supplier Quality, Supply Chain to resolve data gaps, and prioritize dashboard requirements
Track and report corrective action (CAR) status and aging; create visualizations to highlight overdue actions and repeat offenders
Provide training, standard work and general guidance on work assignments
Respond to ad‑hoc analytics requests, build custom views, and support deep‑dive investigations into high‑impact defects
Continuously improve reporting processes, automation, and visualization standards to drive faster decision‑making and defect reduction
Basic Qualifications
6+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Tools, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
3+ years of experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), with proven experience building and deploying business reports and dashboards
5+ years of experience performing quantitative or statistical analysis, data collection, preparation and interpretation
5+ years of experience in root cause analysis and corrective action
5+ years of experience working with cross‑functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
Experience leading or mentoring small teams in a formal or informal role
Strong SQL skills and experience with data modeling
Familiarity with Lean principles or continuous improvement methodologies
2+ years of experience in quality assurance/control in aerospace, or equivalent experience in a highly regulated industry
College Degree or Applicable Experience
