The Amazon MGM Studios Awards team produces and promotes original content to service Amazon Prime Video customers, including award‑winning series such as Fallout, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Jury Duty, The Boys, and Fleabag.
Overview
The Series Awards Lead will lead and execute awards campaigns for Amazon MGM Studios and Prime Video series across all phases of the awards calendar – including both the fall guild season and the Emmy Awards cycle. The role requires engagement with talent, executive producers, agencies, and internal executives, navigating relationships across creative and corporate partners to ensure seamless collaboration and campaign execution.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute strategic awards campaigns for series during the fall (Guild) and Emmy Awards cycles.
Serve as a key point of contact for talent, executive producers, agencies, and internal executives throughout each campaign.
Implement and execute submission strategy across series awards campaigns.
Track and support all submission‑related needs for the Television Academy and relevant guilds and associations.
Manage day‑to‑day logistics with internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful campaign delivery.
Maintain exceptional attention to detail and manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously.
Demonstrate strong motivation, initiative with minimal direction, and uphold integrity and discretion with confidential information.
Communicate effectively with senior management, peers, talent representatives, and outside vendors.
Maintain composure and adaptability in a rapidly changing environment and provide clear, timely submissions information to stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications
Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
6+ years of film and/or TV public relations experience.
Knowledge of the entertainment industry.
Experience in television and film studio/streaming service publicity and tactical campaigning.
Experience leading and executing awards campaigns.
Knowledge of the rules for major awards competitions.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross‑functional teams and agency partners.
Ability to work proactively and independently, meet deadlines, and deliver on projects and tasks.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
Experience owning and leading significant projects from concept to deployment.
Passion for pop culture and entertainment.
Experience developing creative, effective approaches to difficult communications challenges.
Benefits
The base salary range for this position is $118,200.00 - $160,000.00 USD annually. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
