Required Hours:
Monday-Friday 7am- 3:30pm, with occasional needs to stay later for patient census
Responsibilities
Administer hyperbaric oxygen therapy and diagnostic testing to patients under the supervision of a hyperbaric physician. All therapeutic and diagnostic modalities will be ordered by the hyperbaric physician/provider. Provides daily maintenance and safety checks prior to daily operations.
Education
H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
Training in one of the following medical professions required:
Respiratory Therapy
Practical Nursing (LPN/LVN)
Emergency Medical Technology
Successful completion of the 40-hour Primary Hyperbaric Training course within 6 months of hire
Work Experience
2 years of healthcare experience required
Wound, Hyperbaric, or critical care experience preferred
Licenses and Certifications
BLS Certification Upon Hire required
Current Georgia license or certification in one of the following areas required:
CRTT - Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician
LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - State Licensure Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN)
EMT - Emergency Medical Technician
CHT - Certification in Hyperbaric Technology
CST - Certified Surgical Technologist
Other CHT qualifying certification required
In addition to the above qualifying license, the successful completion of the 40-hour Primary Hyperbaric Training course within 180 Days Required
