Millennium , a leader in broadband solutions, is looking for a
Master Data Management Specialist . You will ensure the accuracy and quality of the item and supplier data, and work with our systems to clean and maintain data sets. This includes gathering, validating, and entering information for accurate new item creation, reviewing existing items for data accuracy and completeness of key item attributes, managing changes in the system for items that are obsolete or discontinued, managing and updating supplier price lists in the system, and supporting people in the organization with questions about item creation, cost, or item status. Additionally, you will develop and provide reporting on key metrics for master data management, and interact and communicate with outside vendors that support data integrity for items.
Driving Impact Through
Manage end-to-end new item creation, ensuring timely and accurate setup of product records with complete attribute data across internal systems
Proactively build and maintain comprehensive item data sets for suppliers, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and completeness of all product attributes
Continuously evaluate and improve item creation and data management processes to drive efficiency and reduce errors
Monitor and maintain existing item data quality, performing regular audits and cleansing to ensure accuracy and completeness
Partner with suppliers and third‑party vendors to source, validate, and update product data, including lifecycle changes such as discontinuations, substitutions, and end‑of‑life items
Develop and manage processes to ensure timely updates of product lifecycle status across systems
Oversee item pricing data management, including gathering supplier price files, preparing data for mass uploads, and validating successful system updates
Collaborate with suppliers to improve price file accuracy and upload efficiency, while maintaining documentation and communicating cost changes internally
Ensure all pricing updates are accurate, validated, and implemented on schedule
Collaborate with third‑party data management partners to optimize data quality, tool usage, and overall data governance practices
Leverage AI and manual methods to enhance and maintain product data accuracy and completeness
Provide cross‑functional support and subject matter expertise on product data, including item status, accuracy, and lifecycle changes
Communicate key updates such as new product introductions, discontinuations, and end‑of‑life notices to relevant stakeholders
Develop and deliver standard and ad‑hoc reporting on master data KPIs and performance metrics
Partner with IT to automate reporting and build dashboards that improve visibility into data quality and operational performance
What Will Make You Successful
1‑2 years of experience in master data management as a master data management specialist or similar role requiring consistent attention to detail to produce accurate and timely results
Strong analytical skills - knowledge of Excel, and other analytical tools such as Power BI or equivalent
Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Able to achieve win/win results working with suppliers and outside third parties
