Quality Engineer
We are seeking a Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. This position requires a deep understanding of quality control measures, root cause analysis, statistical analysis, and quality systems. With a focus on continuous improvement, the Quality Engineer will work closely with our manufacturing team to drive quality initiatives and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems that align with company and regulatory requirements.
Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve quality issues, implementing corrective and preventative actions to prevent reoccurrence.
Utilize APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) to ensure that quality standards are met throughout the product development process.
Perform statistical analysis to evaluate production processes, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
Ensure compliance with IATF (International Automotive Task Force) standards and other industry-specific regulations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive quality initiatives and foster a culture of quality across the organization.
Conduct regular audits of the quality system, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
Train and mentor team members on quality standards and best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Interface with suppliers and customers to address quality concerns and ensure that expectations are met.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer in the manufacturing industry.
Proficient in APQP, Quality Control, Root Cause Analysis, Statistical Analysis, IATF, and Quality Systems.
Strong problem‑solving skills with an ability to identify and resolve complex quality issues.
Excellent statistical analysis skills, with a firm understanding of how to interpret and use data to drive quality initiatives.
In‑depth knowledge of IATF standards and other industry‑specific regulations.
Exceptional communication skills, with an ability to clearly convey complex quality concepts to team members and stakeholders.
Proven leadership skills, with an ability to drive quality initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Strong organizational skills, with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification is preferred.
