What will I be doing?
As an Events Assistant, you would be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to department managers in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Handle calls and e‑mail correspondence in a courteous, efficient and clear manner. Assist in any way possible, if further information is needed, responsible for taking detailed, accurate messages and expediting delivery of that message to the appropriate manager.
Assist managers with various tasks. This includes, but is not limited to: greeting clients, checking space, requesting history, creating group resumes, VIP guests arrangements, servicing affiliates, initiating programs, menus and BEOs from client specification sheets. Processing all post group paperwork, PER’s, rebate and commission memos.
Responsible for scheduling business travel for your designated team. This includes filling out Personnel Authorizations, Check Requests, or other hotel documents needed to ensure complete, accurate payroll checks and reports.
