
Operations Planner

Responsibilities
Plan and prepare production schedules for systems and racks by determining the needed manpower, equipment/tooling, space and raw materials
Review open sales orders and schedule them to cover the monthly forecasted demand, internal financial goals and customer delivery dates using different planning strategies
Lead daily production meetings and coordinate between cross‑functional teams about planned production activities, other priorities, and if needed, adjustment of the target based on available manpower
Draw up monthly master production schedules including work‑in‑progress (WIP) that establish time limits for multiple SKUs and sequences of manufacturing operations followed by communicating with PM to address the potential impacts/bottlenecks
Prepare periodic orders status reports by monitoring the order progress on the production floor and take the necessary corrective/preventive actions for the orders/operations not being on track.
Communicate with sales and/or PM/customer regarding their order status and provide the commitment.
Work with functional teams (Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, etc.) and come up with an action plan when issues arise (schedule delay, shortages, failures, technical issues, etc.), which may impact on‑time delivery
Collaborate with cross‑regional stakeholders to resolve material shortages, production bottlenecks, and logistics constraints impacting on‑time delivery
Ensure consistent communication of production updates, schedule changes, and escalation items to regional and global leadership teams
Perform all other duties, as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration and Mathematics
Planning, organizing and completing tasks in a timely manner
Working effectively and accurately under narrow time limitations
Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced dynamic environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficient with MS Office Suite; experience with MES and ERP systems preferred; APICS certification a plus
Ability to think logically and critically to weigh options and take the best decision in favor of efficient production.
Ability to be resourceful, quick decision making, and excellent time management
The job profile also demands a command on management and administration principles which are the basic tools for resource allocation, production and strategic planning, and work coordination and delegation
