Job Description/Responsibilities
Join our team as a key partner in ensuring financial accuracy, inventory integrity, and regulatory compliance within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role blends accounting, audit, and operational compliance, making it a great fit for candidates with backgrounds in accounting, finance, or inventory control.
What You'll Do
Lead plant-level compliance with government regulations (TTB, state, and customs)
Prepare and submit required reports, including:
Processing reports (5110.28)
Excise tax filings (5000.24A)
Export documentation (5100.11)
Manage semi-monthly excise tax reporting and payments with high financial impact
Reconcile and balance inventory (bulk & finished goods) and post adjustments
Verify tax rates and ensure accuracy across shipments and transactions
Support internal and external audits, including government inspections
Maintain accurate documentation for production, bottling, and shipping (BOLs)
Partner with IT to improve reporting accuracy and compliance systems
What We're Looking For
Background in accounting, finance, audit, or inventory control
Strong attention to detail with experience in reconciliation, reporting, or compliance
Comfort working with data, systems, and cross-functional teams
Experience with regulatory reporting, tax, or audit support is a plus

Qualifications/Requirements
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or relevant field
Excellent oral & written communication skills
High proficiency with Microsoft Office, systems and technology
Strong attention to detail, planning and organizational skills
Demonstrate the ability to work as a team as well as self-directed
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Experience working with external/internal auditors
Previous experience with ERPs
Full time onsite work schedule
Preferred
Knowledge of import/export processes/regulations (FDA, US Customs)
Experience in Alcohol Beverage Industry or CPG overall
Experience with process/receiving activities
Experience in a compliance related field such as TTB, Customs, IRS, auditing
