What You’ll Be Doing…
Serve as the primary QA resource for problem identification, resolution, and continuous improvement
Develop, apply, and document quality requirements and standards for manufacturing and inspection
Design and implement methods for process control, improvement, testing, and inspection
Establish supplier quality requirements and monitor supplier performance
Participate in internal and external quality audits
Collaborate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions
Support New Product Project teams for smooth product transitions into manufacturing
Assist Engineering, Manufacturing, and Marketing with product improvements
Highlight potential quality issues proactively to management
Document first‑article inspections (PPAP)
Maintain and promote Fenner Precision Polymers values and behaviors
Perform other duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For…
Holds a bachelor’s degree or has 5‑10 years of related experience/training
Has working knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma methodologies
Demonstrates excellent communication and influencing skills
Is proficient in QA applications, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases
Shows initiative, meets commitments, and contributes to innovative solutions
Is highly detail‑oriented and organized
Works well independently and in a team environment
Is committed to safety and follows all EHS policies and procedures
Maintains a clean and orderly work area and keeps equipment in proper condition
Has audit experience and familiarity with AS9100 (preferred)
Environmental, Health & Safety Accountabilities
Learn and follow EHS policies, rules and work instructions
Attend required EHS training
Wear the required PPE at all times
Take personal responsibility for keeping yourself and your co‑workers and visitors free from injury by participating in and/or conducting risk assessments, workplace inspections, corrective actions and safety observations
Report incidents, near miss, unsafe conditions, unsafe acts and other hazards in the workplace. STOP WORK when imminent danger is present
Maintain work area in a neat and orderly fashion and keep equipment in proper working condition.
Following the best practices outlined by Fenner’s Health, Safety and Environmental Department, this role will be accountable for the following areas of safety at the site:
