Job Summary

The Engineer - Service & Solutions is a customer-facing technical role responsible for the service, conduct demo , successful deployment, integration, and ongoing support of Ati's Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) systems. Responsibilities

Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers during deployment, ramp-up, and post-go-live support phases.
Lead on-site installation, configuration, testing, and commissioning of AMR systems within customer facilities.
Perform proactive and reactive diagnostics — using system logs, firmware tools, and data analysis — to resolve issues quickly and minimize operational disruption.
Conduct firmware updates, sensor calibration, and hardware maintenance to ensure systems remain reliable and performant.
Utilize data acquisition and testing tools (C/C++, Python) to monitor system health, validate performance, and support continuous improvement.
Develop and maintain high-quality service documentation including service reports, integration guides, troubleshooting playbooks, and change logs.
Deliver hands‑on training to customer operators and technical teams, empowering them to manage day-to‑day AMR operations confidently.
Collaborate with internal engineering, product, and support teams to elevate and resolve complex technical issues and relay customer feedback.
Identify patterns in field issues and contribute to knowledge base articles, process improvements, and product enhancement requests.
Support the customer through ongoing operations — building trust, ensuring satisfaction, and advocating for their needs internally.
Travel across the US to customer sites for conducting demo/ installations, scheduled maintenance, and on-call technical support.
Maintain the stock AMR at warehouse in good condition with accessories in continous testing at office premises
This role will be more of independently handling of the mechanical parts dismantle/replacement at site /office wherever needed
Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline; Master's degree is a plus.
Hands‑on field experience supporting robotic or automation systems in manufacturing, logistics, or warehouse environments.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and maintain complex electromechanical systems in live operational settings.
Proficiency in Linux-based systems, Python scripting, and working knowledge of C/C++.
Solid understanding of embedded systems, firmware workflows, sensor integration, and real‑time diagnostics.
Familiarity with AMR fleet management platforms, SLAM-based navigation, and industrial communication protocols.
Experience with service management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or equivalent platforms.
Strong customer communication skills – capable of translating technical concepts clearly for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Self-driven and dependable, with the ability to manage priorities independently in the field.
Willingness to travel extensively across the US for customer engagements.
