Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
Schedule:
Up to five 8-hour shifts per week once fully credentialed
Patient Population:
Adults and adolescents (13+)
Compensation:
$140,000 – $160,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
Providers begin part-time hourly during the credentialing and onboarding period
Position Overview
Peak Mental Healthcare is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our growing clinical team. This role involves providing psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing treatment for adult and adolescent patients in an outpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments
Provide medication management and treatment planning
Deliver ongoing psychiatric care for adults and adolescents
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to support continuity of care
Participate in case discussions and clinical collaboration when appropriate
Follow all state, federal, and regulatory compliance requirements
Maintain active licensure and required clinical credentials
Qualifications
Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
Active Nurse Practitioner license and DEA registration
Ability to treat adult and adolescent populations
Strong clinical judgment and patient-centered communication skills
New graduates are encouraged to apply; mentorship and support are available
1–3 years of experience as a PMHNP preferred
$140,000 – $160,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
Providers begin part-time hourly during the credentialing period while
licensing and payer enrollment are completed
